Yayomi Kusama, Infinity Mirror Room: Phalli’s Field (Floor show)
The first of a series of infinity mirror rooms, which she began in 1965.She created anenviroment with dotted phalluses and endless reflections that suck in the viewer. Step into this room and you’re immersed in the work.
Those look like daisies in this image (though I know they’re not) and the idea of “infinity” - everything about this brings me back to square one all over again. This entire image/installation is absolutely stunning.
